Applications are invited from orthopaedic trainees who are interested in further specialist training in shoulder surgery. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for suitable trainees to obtain hands-on experience in all aspects of shoulder surgery including shoulder trauma, shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopic shoulder surgery. The fellow will also be involved in clinical research and contribute to the teaching of medical students and registrars.

This is a six month Fellowship based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy under the supervision of Mr. Sunil Sharma. The post commences 1st August 2014 and is open to EEA or international trainees who have completed specialist registrar training in orthopaedics. NTN/VTN holders will need the written agreement of their postgraduate dean to bring their training number with them.

You should be eligible for registration with the GMC and possess FRCS (Tr & Orth) or equivalent.

Candidates could register their interest by e-mailing me their CVs. This fellowship will be advertised in the BMJ shortly.
